It can be difficult to accurately judge how much room your dog will have in a crate. It's roomier than you might think. We bought the 42" size for our 100 lb adult German Shepherd. She can stand fully upright inside it with comfort and she can turn around. She can lie down and stretch her front legs straight out. She does not have room to exercise, but exercise is not the point of a crate. She is safe, secure and comfortable inside it. It is well made, easy to set up and fold, with a roomy door for clean-up and care. It's about half the cost of a similar crate at a major bricks and mortar retailer. Look for the photo to get a reference. I don't think you'll find a better deal.

I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so I was a little concerned that the Frisco crate was so much less expensive than the Midwest crate. I read the reviews and decided to go with this one. First thing...I got it the next day! That was impressive. After getting the huge box opened and separating all the pieces, it took me about 20 minutes without help to assemble the pleasingly sturdy crate. It did take another 20 minutes to clean up all the styrofoam, but I was prepared for that. The instructions were complete and easy to understand, it was easy to identify the pieces, and assembly was easy. I only used pliers once, and that was due to a piece that I probably bent myself. A few owners mentioned problems with the crate handle, so you’ll want to be careful when carrying it. Note that some airlines require crates to be fastened with metal, rather than plastic hardware (which is provided with this crate). However, it is easy to pick up some metal bolts and use them to replace the plastic hardware that comes with the crate.
I had done a lot of research before I decided to purchase this crate, so I had read the reviews about packaging. The outside of the box was in good condition, but the inside packaging and crate itself was a mess! Styrofoam was everywhere. And by the time we finally got it untangled and put together, even the dogs were covered in it! The box didnt prevent the crate from becoming bent and tangled. With some tools and a strong hand, it took 2 of us an hour to put together. The crate itself is a little bent and the side door isn't very secure, but we used zip ties and all is well. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase.
