Crates that don’t close securely are pretty worthless, so you’ll want to make sure that any crate you select has high-quality latches. But beware of crates with exceptionally large latching mechanisms, as some dogs will learn how to open the door themselves. If you have an especially escape-prone pooch, you’ll probably need a crate especially designed for Houdini dogs with double latches or more advanced locking mechanisms.
It is a little flimsy but it isn’t being moved all over the house so it’s perfect for my girl. She out grew the one I borrowed so I had to buy a new one and it had to be bigger and cheap. The three doors don’t really make sense but whatever. The handle was broken in the box but I didn’t plan on using it and threw it away. It would be a five star if the crate wasn’t so flimsy. It did open and set up quickly.
Selecting wire XXL Dog Crates can be overwhelming at first. Start by selecting the number of doors for your XXL dog crate. Consider where the dog cage will be located and if more that 1-door is needed. Will you ever need to relocate the dog crate to another location and if so, will multiple doors be necessary for your dogs cage? This will significantly decrease the number of dog crates for selection. Next determine style, folding, etc. or consider a puppy crate package.
